Almost there!
We turned the 90+˚ heat wave into pure productivity. We started the day off with 6 cubic yards of bark nuggets (but really, who doesn’t?) then proceeded to lay out the plants in their positions:
Let’s see, what else can we tell you about the landscape plan? We’ve laid down landscape fabric everywhere to keep weeds from growing in the planting beds but still allow water through. Translation: low maintenance. And hiding underneath all that mulch is quiet drip irrigation dispensing 1 GPH every 12 inches along that brown tubing you see in these pictures:
We’re working our way up from the backyard towards the frontyard so that when we’re done, we’re DONE. There are two planting beds in the front: a large, circular-like area that greets visitors as they come up to the front door; and another that flanks the right side of the yard with some beautiful specimens.

An amazing transformation ! 90+ and in Gaylord we had a bit of snow and
hail yesterday with temps in the 40’s. Do I see they dumped the 6 yds
of landscape material in the STREET _ must be a California thing!

WOW! You’re neighbors will be jealous. What a transformation. It will need to be on a home show tour. Haven’t seen pictures of plantings in your new private garden. Are those done?
