Family Canoe Trip 2008

We were lucky enough to have the whole family get together and “ride the rapids” this year. Awesomely good time. Here’s a few pictures, although I forgot to capture the “Boat Eating Log” and “Eddy Currents of Doom”. Surprisingly, there were no capsizings this year.

Tis the season to send Christmas cards and well-wishes to friends and family. We LOVE to see and hear what everyone is doing, where they’ve moved to, and what new additions they’ve added to their family.

Julie and I took the train into San Jose to see the Christmas decorations, dioramas, and festivities. Spread throughout San Pedro square were artificial snow makers…to many kids this is the first time they’ve seen and felt snow.

While we’re waiting for Santa to arrive, Julie and I decorated the house. Her famous package pillows are now a staple item under our tree (if you’d like your own, operators are standing by to take your order ). We set up Mr. Snowman to stand watch, too.

Campbell trucks in snow for the kids. Snowball fights and sledding ensues. And what winter celebration is complete without Cotton Candy?!
